Carroll Mackin

Carroll Mackin is an executive coach and fractional COO/CFO who builds scalable organizations and aligns families and management. He launched his career as founder/CEO of Great Northern Holding, buying it out of bankruptcy and expanding through multiple acquisitions from under $1M to $13M in revenue before selling in 2018.

Since then, Carroll has coached leaders and taken interim operating roles to stabilize growth and professionalize processes during generational transitions:

Originally from Philadelphia, Carroll studied engineering at Vanderbilt and earned an MBA from Kellogg. Based in Louisville for 25 years, he’s active in West Side community development. He speaks Spanish, enjoys travel, reading, guitar, and is getting his private pilot license.

Neville Blakemore

President & Lead Advisor

Neville has served as the President & CEO of several high growth SMBs.  For 30+ years, he’s worked on mergers & acquisitions, capital formation, investor relations, strategic growth plans, departmental reorgs, liquidating companies, public relations, human resources, I/S restructuring and B/S deleveraging, and system-wide operational enhancements.

Neville’s primary industry experience includes B2B services, the building materials and construction industry, light manufacturing, as well as logistics and distribution.

He has served on the Boards of Directors and/or Ad Hoc Committees of 35+ non-profits.  These organizations and initiatives include economic development, local tax modernization, publicly financed arenas, regional airlift capacity, urban development, criminal justice reform, post-secondary education, arts and culture, parks and recreation, and at-risk youth.  Neville is also a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).

As an engaged citizen, Neville has worked bi-partisanly with Democrat and Republican law makers (state and local), think-tanks, grassroots organizations, and lobbyists. Having run for office multiple times, he has actively engaged governmental officials on economic development, at-risk youth, and criminal justice reform issues.

A graduate of Macalester College, majoring in History, he holds an M.B.A. from Boston University’s School of Management with an entrepreneurialism concentration.  Neville is married to Jessica Bird, a #1 New York Times bestselling author, and they have a daughter.

Scott is a lifetime entrepreneur and is an active board member of the International Business Brokers Association and an instructor for 250+ realtors through the British Columbia Real Estate Association.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys a good surf trip down south and a fresh power lap down “Catcher’s Mitt” in Revelstoke, BC.

Matt is responsible for generating accurate and detailed MVA™ reports for our clients. Additionally, he leads all data operations for OpnRoad, with a focus on CRM system development and administration.

Matthew graduated with top honours from Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania, earning a BS in Data Analytics. He was recognized with the top-of-class award for his exceptional performance.

He has furthered his education by obtaining an MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics in 2024.

Currently based in Nelson, Matt finds joy in exploring the Kootenay mountain range through conquering summits and chest-deep pow days.
